What is E=M³?

E=M³ Belonging Summit is a day and night gathering in Edmonton exploring belonging through movement, music, mindfulness, conversation, creativity, and community connection.

Presented by FALAC.ORG, in collaboration with La Connexional and GROOVE Culture, the program invites people across generations to meet, take part in guided experiences, reflect on culture and community, and help create a welcoming space where people can belong.

From a morning circle and afternoon activations to an evening rooftop jam and late-night Afro x Latino Beats GROOVE Gala, each experience is designed to stand on its own or be part of a full day together.

Sponsors

Help make an accessible, joyful belonging experience possible in Edmonton. Tell us about your organization and we’ll connect to explore sponsorship options.

Partners

Bring your community, team, expertise, or programming into the experience. Tell us how you would like to collaborate and we’ll be in touch.

Workshop Hosts

Do you lead a practice, skill, or experience that could help people learn, connect, move, create, or recharge? We are building a program of workshops for E=M³ Belonging.

Many facilitators will have several years of practice and teaching experience. But we also know meaningful experience is not always linear or measured only in years. If you feel you have something genuine to offer, we would love to hear from you.

Join us for a day of belonging in motion.

Choose one session, or stay for the full day. The Gala is a separate late-night celebration.

E=M³ is informed by themes in Edmonton’s Cultural Infrastructure Plan, including people-centred gathering, flexible cultural spaces and community connection. E=M³ is independently organized and is not a City of Edmonton or ECIP-partner program.
